A Facebook post by a Pune-based banker Swati Chitalkar shook the corporate world with surprise on August 16. Chitalkar's had posted a photo in which her son, who she claimed was suffering from fever, shown lying on the floor of her office, while she was busy working to process an urgent loan.

A Facebook post by a Pune-based banker Swati Chitalkar shook the corporate world with surprise on August 16. Chitalkar's had posted a photo in which her son, who she claimed was suffering from fever, shown lying on the floor of her office, while she was busy working to process an urgent loan.

With the photo a posted on facebook she also left a message saying, "It's not a baby on a floor, it's my heart on the floor. He was fully fevered not ready to stay with anybody. As half day is over, I couldn't take leave in between an urgent release of loan, but could manage both my duties. Just wanted to convey the message to ministers who sleep in the Assembly." 

Chitalkar's Facebook photo gone viral just after she posted the picture and many users started posting comments and sharing her photo.

One of the users wrote: 'She manages both the duties well, but questions the politicians who do not wake up to the plight of street children who have to sleep on the footpaths'.

While her Facebook post highlighted the problems working mothers face in their professional life, Chitalkar says her aim was to put a point across everyone, especially politician, that just like her three-year-old son who had to sleep on the floor when she was working in office, there are millions of children on the roads who live and sleeps on the street like this every day.
