UFO spotted in Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj; picture goes viral on social media

Some residents of Uttar Pradesh's Manpur Nagaria village in Kasganj district have claimed that they have spotted an unidentified flying object (UFO) on Wednesday. According to the youths, the UFO was spotted after it stopped raining in the village. One of them claimed to have captured the ‘UFO’ on his cellphone.

The pictures were then shared on popular Instant Messaging app WhatsApp. They soon went viral on all social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. This prompted the government to investigate the matter after the alleged sighting of a UFO.

District Magistrate K Vijendra Pandyan sent the pictures to the MeT department for investigation. According to media reports, the person who clicked the pictures is unavailable and his cellphone is switched off.
