Video of a dancing gorilla in Twycross Zoo goes viral

Video of a dancing black gorilla has gone viral with over one million views from across the world. This funny dancing footage of the gorilla was captured by Helen Fairhead.

This young ape in the jovial mood is called Lope in the Twycross Zoo of Leicestershire. More than a million people have watched this video on Facebook also, leaving numerus comments online.

The zoo's director of life sciences Dr Charlotte Macdonald said Lope's ‘dance’ is evidence of him playing - an important aspect of young apes' behaviour.
