PM Modi-led government’s decision of scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency note came as a shocker to the nation, more often it turned out to be a nightmare for those holding undeclared income and black money.
One such incident of shock and anguish has come up in a viral video where a man is seen burning Rs 500 note in a room.
Reportedly the video is from Thane, Maharashtra where the man is one by one burning the old and invalid Rs. 500 note from a number of notes arranged on the bed. Although the truth behind the video is still unclear and we also don’t confirm the authenticity of the same.

Earlier similar kind of reports came from Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur where Rs 500 and Rs 1000 note were seen floating river Ganga. Also, a bag full of burnt now defunct currency was found in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.
