Former Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit was trolled mercilessly on Twitter after a goof-up on the social media site. Basit apparently retweeted a photo of an adult film star while passing it off as a Kashmiri man who lost his vision due to pellet injury. It seems that he later deleted the tweet.
Pakistan based journalist Naila Inayat on Monday tweeted screenshots of the post saying, "Former Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit, mistakes Johnny Sins for a Kashmiri man who lost vision from pellet. Unreal times these, really."

News Nation can not verify whether the tweet is genuine. The Twitter account @abasit1 is not verified but the bio on the profile claims it to be the account of the former Pakistan Ambassador to Germany and High Commissioner to India. A look at the timeline also suggests it to be his account.
This is not the first time Pakistani politicians have made such a goof-up. Many Pakistanis have resorted to propagating fake news on social media with many sharing fake photographs.
Basit's mistake got lot of attention from Twitter users. Many reacted to Inayat's tweet with jokes, memes and funny comments.

As Netizens pointed out, the man in the video is not a Kashmiri but a well-known adult movie star Johnny Sins.
