German soccer team Borussia Dortmund bus hit by explosion before Champions League match

Just before a Champions League match between Dortmund and Monaco, an explosion has rocked the team bus carrying the Borussia Dortmund football team in it. One player has been injured, however, other players are safe.

One of the player, Marc Bartra has been injured and has been taken to the hospital.

The local police have said that they were at the scene and there are reports that the fire service is also there. The team that the other players are safe for now. 

The Dortmund management has confirmed that their team bus was affected by an explosion on the way to the ground and one of their players, Marc Batra, has been taken to hospital with an unspecified injury. 

The cause of the explosion is not yet clear but police are at the scene in large numbers. The match has not been officially postponed till now but it seems highly unlikely that it will go ahead.
