Pakistan bans 11 trusts affiliated to Hafiz Saeed’s JuD, FIF and Masood Azhar’s JeM: Sources

The Pakistan's Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has banned 11 trusts affiliated to Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s Jamaat ud Dawa, Filah e Insaniyat Foundation and Pulwama blasts strategist Masood Azhar’s Jaish-e-Mohammed, sources at Pakistani Ministry of Interior said.

The action was taken in continuation to the National Action Plan. According to WION, the final decision to ban the organisations was taken by Interior Minister Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Shah as under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, a decision to ban and place organisations under observation is taken by the Ministry of Interior.

Following are the 11 organisations:-

  1. Al Anfal Trust
  2. Idara-e-Khidmat-e-Khalq
  3. Al Dawat ul Irshaad
  4. Al Fazal foundation and trust
  5. Mosc and Welfare trust
  6. Al Madina Foundation
  7. Moaz bin Jabl education trust
  8. Al Esaar Foundation
  9. Al Rahmat Trust organization
  10. 10. Al Hamad Trust
  11. 11. Al Furqan Trust
