While making his inaugural address in Washington last week, Donald Trump pledged to ‘buy American and hire American.’ But in contradiction to his pledge, it has been revealed that the hats his supporters wore were made in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

Many among Donald Trump supporters were wearing the billionaire’s trademark ‘Make America Great Again’ baseball caps. But they did not realise that those caps were actually made in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

Some supporters said that they bought the caps from vendors and were made in China. However, the caps that were bought from Trump’s official campaign website are made in the United States.
