Eman Ahmed, the world’s heaviest woman with a weight of 500 kg, who has undergone a surgery at a hospital in Mumbai passes away in Abu Dhabi's Burjeel Hospital. Earlier, she was flown from Egypt for treatment.

Eman Ahmed World's heaviest woman passes away in Abu Dhabis

Eman Ahmed, the world’s heaviest woman with a weight of 500 kg, who has undergone a surgery at a hospital in Mumbai passes away in Abu Dhabi's Burjeel Hospital. Earlier, she was flown from Egypt for  her weight loss treatment.

A team of doctors at Saifee hospital performed a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy on Eman on March 7, the hospital said in statement. She has undergone a surgery and was moved out of her specially built 1,000-sq ft room into a suite-class room in Saifee Hospital, Charni Roa.

The 36-year-old was on a oral fluids diet and accepting them well.

The medical team treating her was tried their best to cure all her associated medical problems. Before being brought to Mumbai for surgery she was brought to India in a specially chartered flight, Eman was confined to her bed and had not moved out of her house for the last 25 years.
