EUFSC President Konstantin Ishkhanov “Thrilled” to Announce Opening of InClassica Festival in Dubai

The event welcomes numerous internationally-renowned soloists, orchestras and conductors for a thirty-day celebration of classical music, sublime musicality and virtuosic technique.

From 28th August to 26 September this year the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) and SAMIT Event Group will hold the special tenth year anniversary edition of their prestigious annual  InClassica International Music Festival, this year taking place at Dubai’s Opera House and Coca-Cola Arena. The event welcomes numerous internationally-renowned soloists, orchestras and conductors for a thirty-day celebration of classical music, sublime musicality and virtuosic technique. 

This year will see InClassica welcome thirty-three prolific soloists, twelve noted conductors and eight celebrated orchestras to the United Arab Emirates, for a series of consecutive daily evening concerts presenting performances of music by distinguished European composers and the event’s Composer-In-Residence, Alexey Shor.

Soloists billed to perform include Winner of the Tchaikovsky International Competition, famous pianist Denis Matsuev (Russia); Grammy Award, twice Gramophone Classical Music Award, Classic Brit Award and five times Edison Classical Music Award winner, violinist Maxim Vengerov (Monaco); Gold medallist of the Fifteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and multiple First Prize Winner at numerous other international competitions, Yekwon Sunwoo (South Korea), with other leading artists also set to perform.

The European Foundation for Support of Culture is a Malta-based organisation that seeks to expand and promote the reach of classical music and other cultural activities around the world, with SAMIT Event Group a leading event organiser based in the UAE’s most populous city, Dubai.
