Factory explosion in China’s eastern Anhui province kills 1, injures 3

In a factory explosion followed by fire in China’s eastern Anhui province have killed at least one person and injures three on Wednesday.

So far, four persons have been rescued while 11 remain unaccounted for, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The explosion occurred at 5:15 (local time) on Tuesday afternoon at a factory on an industrial park in Tangshu Township, Shucheng county.

Police have cordoned off the scene of the incident, and ambulances have begun to arrive.Fire fighters continue to fight the fire.
