New Delhi:
Famous fashion designer and television personality Junaid Jamshed and his family lost their lives in the PIA flight PK-661 crash near Abbottabad. Pakistani movie Khuda Kay Liye was inspired by Junaid Jamshed’s life. In 1986, Jamshed earned a lot of publicity with the Vital Signs’ hit rock song, Do Pal Ka.
The Vital Signs band became popular with Pakistan’s media after the success of the patriotic Dil Dil Pakistan. Jamshed first gained nationwide prominence and international recognition as group ‘Vital Signs’ vocalist in 1987 with the album, Vital Signs.
It included the number one single Dil Dil Pakistan, and Tum Mil Gaye. The commercial success of Vital Signs’ first album helped develop Pakistan’s rock music industry.
har Dil DIl Pakistan aaj udaas hogaya....hamara aik dost hum sey juda hogaya...Junaid Jamshaid a Pakistani icon forever.

Crash site suggests that this was a high speed impact which usually means plane was in free fall. #PIA pic.twitter.com/H91yDZv5wN
