New Delhi:

Well known Fox news anchor Shep Smith remarked about Hurrican Matthew and he used strong words to plead Florida residents to evacuate before disaster strikes.

He said: "This moves 20 miles to the west, and you and everyone you know are dead — all of you — because you can't survive it."It's not possible unless you're very, very lucky. And your kids die, too."

Smith also spoke to a Floridian woman who wanted to stay in her home. He said: "I'll ask her why she's staying, and if she expects us to cover her funeral".

Hurricane Matthew is considered the strongest with the most destructive winds in parts of the northeast and east-central Florida coast. Matthew is the only Category 4 hurricane to make landfall anywhere in northeast Florida or Georgia coast.
