Florida Police detained a man allegedly involved in a failed robbery bid at a bank in Jacksonville area where several people were held hostage, US media reported.
Authorities said SWAT team was been pressed into service to deal with the situation.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesperson Melissa Bujeda said an unknown number of hostages were inside the Community First Credit Union.
