External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday reaffirmed India’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.Â
Addressing the ministerial level meeting of Non-Aligned Movement, Swaraj said that India’s commitment to the Palestinian cause can never be undermined.
The minister’s statement comes in midst of growing Indo-Israel relations, which had cast a shadow on India's close ties with Palestine.Â
However, the Modi Government has fought against the claim by saying that India has maintained steady and firm ties with Palestine and Israel simultaneously.Â
Sushma Swaraj is in New York to attend United Nations General Assembly meet. She is also holding a series of sideline meeting, including bilateral, trilateral talks along with regional ministerial level meets.Â
