Pakistan has been trying hard to attract attention and support for its stand over the Kashmir issue ever since India revoked provision in Article 370 granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. However, so far, it has hardly got any success at international front. Indian diplomatic efforts have frustrated Pakistan's attempt to internationalise the Kashmir issue.
In the latest attempt to seek attention, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will now make a ‘policy statement’ over Kashmir issue. Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal on Thursday said Imran Khan will make this statement during a public address in PoK’s Muzaffarabad.
Imran Khan has tweeted about this event on Wednesday. He had tweeted, "I am going to do a big jalsa in Muzzafarabad on Friday 13 Sept, to send a message to the world about the continuing siege of IOJK by Indian Occupation forces & to show the Kashmiris that Pakistan stands resolutely with them."

Pakistan is ready for a third-party mediation to resolve the Kashmir issue, said Pak foreign office.
“Mediation offers (on Kashmir) are there but India is not ready. We are ready for it. Our considered view is that all problems can be solved through talks” Pak foreign office spokesperson added.
India has constanly maintained that Kashmir is India's internal matter and no third-party mediation is required.
