Terrorists on Thursday abducted and killed three foreign nationals, including an Indian, in Afghanistan's capital Kabul.

According to local media reports, one Indian, one Malaysian and one Macedonian were abducted by unknown gunmen on Thursday morning. Later, their bullet-ridden bodies were found in Mussahi district in Kabul province.

Although police confirmed the incident, they didn't provide further details. Reports suggested that they worked as cooks at Sodexo, the world's second-largest food and catering services company.

They were abducted from PD9 in the city while they were traveling for work with a local driver. So far, no terrorist group has claimed the responsibility for the abduction and killings.

Security officials said that they found their identity cards next to their bodies. Also, officials at Sodexo confirmed their identities.

"They were shot dead and their bodies were found inside a car," Reuters quoted Nusrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Interior Ministry as saying.
