To help the affected in Australia bushfires, billionaire Jeff Bezos announced that he is making a donation of 1 million AU dollars, an approximation of $690,000 for Australian bushfire relief. "Our hearts go out to all Australians as they cope with these devastating bushfires. Amazon is donating 1 million AU dollars in needed provisions and services. Find more about it and learn how customers can help as well," Jeff Bezos wrote on his Instagram post. His donation of 1 million AU dollars against his $116.7 billion net worth was not seen enough by netizens who lashed out at the Amazon founder and owner.

Elton John and Chris Hemsworth also donated $1 million each to fight the Australian wildfires.
