Unidentified gunmen stormed the studio of Afghanistan’s Shamshad TV channel in Kabul city and opened fire on 7 November, TOLO news reported.
“Attackers have entered their compound and gunshots can be heard,†a Shamshad TV employee said.
According to the reports, Shamshad TV went off air after the gunmen entered the building.
The television station stopped broadcasting shortly after the Tuesday attack. It is not clear how many were left dead or injured. However, ambulances and security forces have arrived in the area.
The Taliban have denied any involvement in the attack, as per reports.
