In a shocking incident, eight people were killed in a shooting incident, including deputy sheriff in Mississippi of the United States.

The authorities said a suspect has been taken into custody.

According to LA Times, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation spokesman Warren Strain asserted that the shootings took place at three separate homes on Saturday night in rural Lincoln County.

Strain said it is too early to say about the motive of the incident, and the police have not registered any case against the suspect. He said it also not clear that the suspect was already known to the deceased.
