Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Facebook on Friday, sharing his daughter's first walk with a lovely 360-degree video.
Zuckerberg chose to post 360-degree video, a feature the social network launched in September, over other traditional photo or video.
In the video's caption, he explained why he chose the unique technology to document his toddler’s first steps,
"When I was a baby and took my first steps, my mom wrote the date in a baby book. When my sister (Randi Zuckerberg)'s children took their first steps, she recorded it with photos and videos.
When Max started walking, I wanted to capture the whole scene with a 360 video so our friends and family can feel like they're right there with us," he wrote.
As you can watch in the video, the 32-year-old father asks his daughter in the video,
"Come give me a hug! Yay!". Zuckerberg also explains to her lovely daughter as she points to the lens, "Yeah, that's a 360 video camera. This is modern walking,"
The video allows users to scroll throughout the room to see Max walk into her father's arms.
