New Delhi:
At least 32 people, including politician Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, were killed and scores others injured in a blast in Balochistan's Mastung district on Friday, local media reports said.
The blast targeted to the convoy of Siraj, a candidate of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) from PB-35 (Mastung) and brother of former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani.
All the injured were rushed to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Mastung for medical treatment while Siraj, who sustained critical injuries and died later, was shifted to Quetta.
This was the second blast in a span of 10 hours in Pakistan where elections were scheduled to be held on July 25.

Earlier in the day, five people were killed and 37 others, including former federal minister and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) central leader Akram Khan Durrani, injured as a bomb explosion hit an election rally in Bannu district of northwest Pakistan.
The explosives were fitted to a motorbike which exploded close to the vehicle of Durrani, who is the candidate of Muttahida Majlis-e-mal (MMA), a political alliance consisting of conservative, Islamist, religious, and far-right parties of Pakistan.
