Jamat-ud-Dawa Chief Hafiz Saeed on Saturday called for avenging the loss suffered on Bangladesh with India’s Kashmir.

Hafiz Saeed said this while addressing a gathering in Pakistan’s Lahore city. The JuD head, who carries a bounty of USD 10 million announced by the US for his role in terror activities, has been under detention since January this year and was recently released by Lahore High Court.

Saeed was declared a global terrorist by the US and the UN over his alleged role in the attack.

On December 3, Hafiz Saeed confirmed that his organisation Jammat-ud-Dawah will contest the 2018 general elections in Pakistan under the banner of the Milli Muslim League, which is yet to be registered with the Election Commission.

Hafiz Saeed's lash out comes at a day when Indian Army is celebrating 'Vijay Diwas,' as it was on December 16, 1971 the army of Pakistan under the command of General Niyazi had to make a public surrender to the Indian army.

With this surrender, the long civil war in East Pakistan came to an end and the nation of Bangladesh came into existence.
