In Muzaffarabad, Imran Khan again provokes India over Kashmir, calls PM Modi ‘a coward man’

Prime Minister Imran Khan once again recked up the Kashmir issue during a gathering in Muzaffarabad on Friday, only “a coward person like Narendra Modi” can take steps to besiege the population of the Valley. Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated ever since the Narendra Modi government abrogated the Article 370 of Indian Constitution that gave Jammu and Kashmir a special status.

Khan said the people of Kashmir have been living under constant curfew for the last 40 days.

“He said only a coward person like Narendra Modi can take steps to besiege the population. He said Narendra Modi and the RSS, an extremist Hindu outfit, are taking steps reminiscient of Nazi Germany,” Khan said at the gathering where former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi was also present.

He said despite all “tyranny”, the Indian government will not succeed as Kashmiris have shed the fear of death.

“Narendra Modi has been a member of RSS since childhood. This party was founded on the principle of India for Hindus only and hate against Muslims,” he said.

Khan also he will raise the “voice of Kashmir” at all international forums, including the UN General Assembly, as an “ambassador of Kashmiris”.

Khan said India’s crackdown on protests and dissent in Kashmir will drive more of the world’s Muslims into extremism.

“I want to tell India that, by detaining thousands of people, you are pushing people into extremism,” Khan said at the rally in Muzaffarabad, in Pakistan-Occupied.

“People will rise against India, and it is not just about Indian Muslims, there are 1.25 billion Muslims around the world. They all are watching this,” he said.

“When atrocities get to their peak, people would prefer that death is better than this insulting life.”
