At least four people were killed and 17 others injured after a passenger bus collided with a truck in Nepal’s Chitwan district, police said on Wednesday.
The incident happened on Tuesday night when the bus, which was heading towards Kakarbhitta from Kathmandu, collided with the truck along the East-West Highway at Bhanuchok, police said.

“The truck driver, his assistant and two passengers of the bus were killed in the mishap which was caused due to high-speed driving,” according to the police.

“The injured passengers are undergoing treatment at College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital and Chitawan Medical College situated in Chitawan district,” the police added.
