Bomb blast in Pakistan's Kurram Agency kills 15 people, injures over 50

15 people killed while 50 injured in a bomb blast in a Sabzi Mandi inside Eidgah Bazaar in Kurram Agency's Parachinar on Saturday morning. According to reports, the explosion happened at the Eidgarh Market in Parachinar city, the capital of Kurram Agency. 

Security forces have started to cordoned off the search and the search operation to nab the militants have been launched. Initial report suggests that explosives kept in vegetable crates exploded during auction of the vegetables, killing 15 people and wounding 30 others, officials said.

The injured were shifted to Parachinar headquarters hospital.

Kurram Agency is one of the seven tribal areas of Pakistan that is governed according to local laws and customs.

It shares borders with three Afghan provinces.Kurram is one of the most sensitive tribal areas as it borders three Afghan provinces and at one point was one of the key routes for militant movement across the border. It has witnessed scores of attacks.
