Gandhinagar:
A man hurled his shoes at Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Gujarat minister of state for home, in Gandhinagar on Thursday, following which he was detained by the police.
The man, who claimed to be a state government employee, threw the show at Jadeja when he was addressing the media outside the main door of the Gujarat legislative assembly complex in Gandhinagar on Thursday.
He was identified as Gopalbhai Italia. The incident took place when Jadeja came out of the assembly and began addressing media persons. The man, in his 30s, was dressed in red checked shirt and jeans hurled his shoe at the minister.
When Italia hurled his second show at Jadega, he managed to duck.
