Pakistan army claimed on Friday that it aspired for peace but will give a befitting response to Indian aggression. Further, it also dismissed India’s assertion of surgical strikes in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok) as hoax and criticized it for committing brutalities against innocent Kashmiris.

During a Corps Commanders’Conference, the Pak army claimed that India was trying to divert attention away from Kashmir. Tensions have run high amidst nuclear armed neighbours India and Pakistan since the brutal terror attack on Indian army base in Uri on September 18.

Moreover, the Pakistan army chief General Raheel Sharif expressed complete satisfaction over his army’s preparedness to tackle all sorts of external threats.
