At least 11 persons were killed and several others were injured in a blast near police check post in Peshawar on Tuesday, reports said.
The blast took place in Peshawar's Karkhano market, Pakistani media have reported, adding, the casualties may go up.
At least six security personnel from the Khyber Khasadar Force have been killed in the blast, which is believed to be a suicide attack, Dawn reported.
The blast occurred near the vehicle of line officer Nawab Shah in Jamrud area of Khyber tribal region, police said, adding, the explosive device was planted in a motorbike.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
