Fresh clashes erupted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Monday with locals in large number taking to streets to protest against the atrocities by Pakistani Army and human rights violations. "The people of PoK are suffering," one of the angry protestors told news agncy ANI.
"Pakistan says India is committing human rights violations in Kashmir. But what is the establishment itself doing here? Just see. This is the actual human rights violation," he added.
A video going viral on social networking sites shows angry PoK residents raising slogans against the Pakistani Army and their activities in the region. "These atrocities must stop," people can be heard shouting in unison as police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the crowd.
Some protestors are even seen pelting stones at the cops alleging that police were also involved with Pakistani military establishment in injuring civilians. A vehicle was alo torched by an angry mob.
The police brutality was so intense that some protestors had to take shelter behind bushes and take refuge inside hillocks in order to save themselves from the shelling.

The demand of the protesting PoK residents include that the ongoing atrocities by the Pakistani establishment be raised by the world community at international forums.
