Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to address nation on Kashmir shortly

New Delhi:

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday addressed his country on Kashmir and said that Islamabad will go to any extent and if nuclear war happens, entire world will get affected. He said that Narendra Modi made a "historic blunder" by removing the special status of Kashmir and the move will help the state attain "freedom". After India's decision on Kashmir, Pakistan is leaving no stones unturned to internationlise the issue by raising it on global fronts multiple times. They even took the Kashmir issue to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) with the help of China, but failed miserably after the council refused to issue any statement and suggested bilateral route to resolve the issue. The address of Pakistani PM has come hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of G7 Summit in Biarritz. In a presser after the meeting, Trump, who had earlier offered to mediate in the issue, said that Pakistan and India can bilateral resolve the issue. PM Modi also made it clear that Kashmir is a bilateral issue and New Delhi would not want to "bother" any other country in its resolution.
