Pakistan’s security forces on Wednesday foiled a suspected terror bid at the international airport in Lahore and seized weapons and ammunition.
During a routine inspection at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, the Airport Security Force personnel stopped a vehicle and found a weapon and a huge cache of ammunition upon checking, Dawn reported, quoting officials.
The security personnel confiscated a .223 bore rifle, seven magazines, and dozens of bullets from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, a resident of Lahore, was detained and handed over to the police for further interrogation.
