Stories pertaining to the Royal family always draws wide speculation and appreciation. A new video of Britian's royal family was released on Monday which showcased Queen Elizabeth II playing with toddler son Prince Charles at home.

The video, which features 1-year-old Charles, was uploaded to mark the Mother's Day.

The 47-second clip shows the then Princess Elizabeth, aged 23, encouraging the young prince to walk, tickling him on the sofa.

In one of the scenes, the Queen also waives to the Charles who is standing outside the house entrance.

The black and white movie is said to be produced by monarch herself and is titled 'Prince Charles at Home'.

The video is set to be shot in 1949 at Clarence House, then Queen's home.

Prince Charles is the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip and is the heir apparent to the British throne.
