Northeast Nigerian state of Borno which is also the operational heaven of Islamist militant Boko Haram was hit by suicide bombers that killed at least 12 people and left 43 injured.
As per media reports this is a pattern of attacks that had claimed at least 200 lives since June. The alleged bombers went inside a small settlement in Konduga Local Government.
The area is around 35 kilometers southeast of the state capital, Maiduguri. The alleged suicide bombers mingled with a gathering of farmers and then detonated the bomb at around 11:45 AM.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the use of suicide bombers screams the style of Boko Haram.
