US President Donald Trump congratulated Boris Johnson on Friday for his thumping win in the UK elections. Taking to Twitter, Trump expressed that US and UK are now free to strike a ‘massive’ trade deal. Earlier, Trump had visited UK to attend a NATO summit where he had praised Johnson and called him, “very capable”, leader. Although, Trump refrained from commenting on the poll. On the other hand, Boris Johnson touted the prospective US trade deal as a prize for Brexit while the opposition Labour party claims this will open up Britain’s much-loved National Health Service (NHS) to US firms.
Congratulations to Boris Johnson on his great WIN! Britain and the United States will now be free to strike a massive new Trade Deal after BREXIT. This deal has the potential to be far bigger and more lucrative than any deal that could be made with the E.U. Celebrate Boris!

Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka also took to Twitter to congratulate the British Prime Minister-

Moreover, with a thumping victory, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is all set to return to Downing Street as Conservatives have won an overall majority in the UK general election.
The Tories crossed the 326-seat threshold with results on several seats still pending. The return of Boris Johnson is likely to end the uncertainty over Brexit and will help him take the UK out of the European Union.
Buoyed by the results, 55-year-old Johnson said that the victory would give him a mandate to "get Brexit done" and take the UK out of the EU next month.
After getting the majority, Johnson’s party is headed towards the biggest win for a Conservative leader since Margaret Thatcher in 1987.
