New Delhi:

‘Get you someone that looks at you the way Ivanka Trump looks at Justin Trudeau’, this line did rounds on social media after a picture of Donald Trump’s daughter and perhaps the youngest advisor to POTUS in American history, Ivanka Trump having a sneaky glare at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went viral in 2017. The diplomatic corridors buzz with the notion that whoever meets the Canadian leader is likely to be smitten. Some even regard Trudeau as a Disney prince who has come to life. A couple of year down the line and the first lady seem to have replaced Ivanka in the picture while the object has remained the same.

Trump is on France tour to attend G7 summit with, of course, Melania Trump. The world leaders had converged for a photo session to mark the conclusion of the summit when Melania did an Ivanka. The photo shows Melania leaning towards Trudeau for a customary kiss on his cheeks while Trump, the Donald seem to be ignoring things with downcast eyes. It thus, appears as if from Ivanka to Melania, it has been Trudeau all over.

Moreover, the G7 summit in France majorly focussed on climate change, upholding democratic values in Europe and Amazon fires. The G7 nations have pledged to offer support to Bolivia and other nations to assist in firefighting,

However, US President Donald Trump skipped a discussion on climate with other world leaders at the Group of Seven summit in France - then claimed to "know more about the environment than anyone." Trump left an empty chair as global power brokers debated Monday how to help the fire-stricken Amazon and reduce carbon emissions. "I'm an environmentalist," Trump told reporters, even as he celebrated America's oil and gas wealth. Environmental activists declared the summit a failure, marching to demand tougher global emissions rules and more aid for the Amazon.
