Democratic Senator Kamala Harris has announced to make a decision about a potential 2020 US presidential bid over the holiday, said sources.
“Whether to run for president in 2020, it will ultimately be a family decision. And over the holiday, I will make that decision with my family,” said Harris, according to The Politico.
“I think Americans want in their next leader someone who will be honest, speak truth, who will have a vision for our country that is unburdened by what we’ve been, but instead can see who we can be. And they want in their leader someone who will paint a picture of the future in which everyone can see themselves,” Harris said.

According to sources reports, the California senator is one of the few Democrats eyeing to contest against President Donald Trump in 2020.
A former prosecutor and state attorney general, Harris has risen in the political limelight since her election to the Senate in 2016.
Harris winning in 2016 as Senator made history as both the first African-American woman to represent California in the Senate and as the first Indian-American Senator in the United States, it said.
Other possible candidates include Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota. Former Vice President Joe Biden has also garnered speculation as to whether he would make a bid for the White House.
