New Delhi :

The discovery of gravitational waves is seen as a major breakthrough in the field of science. A team of scientists announced they had heard and recorded the sound of two black holes colliding a billion light-years away, which fulfilled the last prediction of Albert Einstein’s general theory of gravity.

This completes the notion of a universe where space and time are interwoven and dynamic. This an also be considered the ringing confirmation of the nature of black holes. Now, scientists have finally tapped into reality where the wildest imaginations of Einstein become manifest.

Now the question is – why scientists and physicists are so excited about this discovery? Whats so important about this gravitational waves discovery?

The answer begins with the tangible things or here scientifically speaking only celestial objects that emit electromagnetic radiation, visible light, X-rays, gamma rays, and so on. But not all objects emit radiation, like colliding black holes or the smoking gun of the Big Bang — don't emit any electromagnetic radiation. They emit gravity.

But with this discovery, soon invisible objects in universe may become visible. Also, gravitational waves are unchanged by the matter they move through. Visible light can get absorbed or reflected by cosmic bodies or dust before it reaches our telescopes, leaving us with a cruddy view of things. For the first time, scientists were able to see and hear black holes in action in scientific history.
