BJP chief Amit Shah on Thursday made a controversial statement during an election rally in Bihar, saying if the party loses Bihar polls, "crackers will be burst in Pakistan."Shah was addressing a rally in Raxaul when he said, "If by any chance the BJP loses this election, while winning and losing will happen in this country, crackers will be burst in celebration in Pakistan. Would you want that to happen?"
"No," roared the crowd.BJP is fighting a close battle in Bihar with the Grand Alliance made up of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad and the Congress.Bihar voted in the third of five phases in the assembly elections on Wednesday, while the remaining two phases will be held next week. The counting of votes will take place on Sunday, November 8.
