Assembly elections 2017: Gujarat results will hit BJP like a hurricane says, Congress' M Veerappa Moily
According To Moily, Galvanising The Party's Cadre Is The First Step For The Congress To Come Back In Any State.
It is just a matter of days that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will take over as the President of the party, said Former UPA cabinet minister M Veerappa Moily to news agency PTI.
Commenting on the Congress' position in the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat, the former Karnataka Chief Minister (CM) said that the party's postion is very strong and that the results will hit the BJP like a 'hurricane'.
"There is a total trust deficit between the people of Gujarat and the government of Gujarat, and also people ofGujarat and Central government and more particularly the prime minister. That (the result) is going to hit them back as ahurricane," Moily claimed.
Under the able leadership of Vice President Rahul Gandhi, the Congress is working to strengthen its ground based cadres and the strategy may be replicated all over the country, said the former Karnataka CM.
Rahul Gandhi has been engaged in an aggressive campaign and raising right voices of people. According to Moily, galvanising the party's cadre is the first step for the Congress to come back in any state.
