Gujarat polls: PM Modi's outreach to OBCs, says his govt will give their dues
While Addressing A Poll Rally In Prachi, Modi Said His Government Is Committed To Give OBC Communities Their Dues. He Assured People That The Government Would Bring The Issue On The Floor.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attacked the Congress, asking why the party did not allow OBC Commission to get Constitutional status for all these years as it is seeking votes from the OBC communities in Gujarat Assembly polls.
While addressing a poll rally in Prachi, Modi said his government is committed to give OBC communities their dues. He assured people that the government would bring the issue on the floor.
The prime minister also alleged that the Congress government did not do anything for OROP which was pending for forty long years.
He questioned, ”What is it that you have against our army?”
“When elections were approaching, they announced a meagre Rs 500 crore for OROP when the real requirement was a lot higher. This was misleading of the highest order,“ he blamed.
