Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019: Shiv Sena has released its list of 124 seats that it will be contesting the 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections. However, Shiv Sena did not name candidates for all 124 seats on Tuesday, releasing names of 70 candidates. The list confirmed that Aaditya Thackeray will contest the election from Worli seat. Shiv Sena's announcement comes on the heels of the BJP announcing its first list of candidates. The BJP had announced the name of candidates for 125 seats on Tuesday.The Shiv Sena will be contesting the Maharashtra elections in an alliance with the BJP. Maharashtra will go to polls on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24.
