General Motors India has launched an updated version of its sports utility vehicle Captiva, priced up to Rs 27.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).Commenting on the launch General Motors India President and Managing Director Arvind Saxena said the introduction of the all new ‘MY 15 Captiva’ is in line with the company’s business plan of capturing the all important SUV market and growing its market share.“The Captiva has been warmly welcomed in markets around the world due to its combination of distinctive styling, refinement, best-in-class safety, comfort and versatility and powerful yet frugal diesel power-train,” he added.The model comes with both manual (MT) and automatic (AT) versions, priced at Rs 25,13,528 and Rs 27,36,192 respectively.The SUV comes with various new features such as cluster ionizer which generates ions to purify and deodorise cabin interiors.
