Fate of thousands of students of a prominent public school of Patna is hanging in balance with the CBSE yet to restore affiliation to the school in the wake of a controversy last year involving a girl student. Non-restoration of affiliation to the DAV BSEB, known for its excellent performance in academics and sports in recent past, by CBSE has left many a students and their parents rue their fate.On asked for his comments on the affiliation of the public school being in limbo for sometimes, Union minister of State for Human Resources Developmentm Upendra Kushwaha told PTI over phone that he would personally look into the issue tomorrow and give necessary direction in the interest of students of the school.CBSE Delhi, which conducted inspection of the school due to some deficiencies in the wake of controversy, has directed the school not to give registration to the students for class IXth and XIth as it would have made them eligible to appear in the board and XII examinations in 2018. “Its really sorry condition for the students who ask me about their future,” Principal V S Ojha said.
