Doctor tries to molest 19-year-old nursing student in Delhi on pretext of getting admission, arrested

In a case reported from Rohini area of New Delhi, a 19-year-old girl taking coaching in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM Course) from a private institute from one Dr Md Iqbal Shah, aged 49-years has complained against Dr Shah of attempting to molest her. The incident occurred on October 4 around 10 AM when Dr Shah sent other students away and allured the victim on the pretext of getting her admission into a good college and tried to take advantage of her. He also caught her hand but the girl managed to escape and narrated the incident to her parents following which a case was registered against him at Narela Police station, Rohini District. The accused Md. Iqbal Shah was arrested on October 6 and produced in court on today. Shah, who is a visiting doctor at a private institute in Narela has been sent to judicial custody.
