Delhi: Men held with ammunition ahead of Independence Day

In the effort to tighten security ahead of the Independence Day in the national capital, the Delhi Police on Thursday arrested two suspected arm peddlers with arms and ammunition.
At least two carbine, 50 pistol and 50 cartridge were recovered from their possession by the special cell of the Delhi Police.
The police have identified the accused as Mohammad Azim and Aas Mohammad.
Security has been beefed up to prevent any terror attacks and untoward incidents in Delhi and across the country in view of the coming Independence Day on August 15.
