On Wednesday arms and ammunition was recovered from Uri in Jammu and Kashmir from a goods truck meant to carry Cross-LoC trade merchandise.
The accused truck driver Irshad Ahmad Mantoo has been arrested. While, 2 Chinese grenades, 1 Chinese pistol, 4 AK magazines & ammunition has been recovered.
A case has been registered and probe is underway after the recovery was made from the truck bearing Reg No JK03B 1586 during a search of incoming trucks who had gone to Chakoti area of POK.
