A massive fire broke out at GST Bhavan in Mumbai’s Mazgaon area on Monday. The fire took place on the top 2 floors of 8-storey building. Soon after the incident was reported, firefighters reached the spot and doused the fire. However, firtefighters took nearly 3 hours to douse the blaze. No casualties reported.
In a tweet, the news agency ANI said, “Mumbai: A level III fire has broken out in GST Bhavan, in Mazgaon area. More details awaited.”

The cause of the fire in the Mazgaon’s GST Bhavan is yet to be known.
This comes days after a massive fire broke out on the first floor of Lake City Mall, Kapurbawdi near Balkum Fire Station in Thane (West). Firefighters doused the flames. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
Recently, at least four people were charred to death in a huge fire that erupted at a cloth factory in Narol locality of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

The blaze broke out around 6 pm, fire brigade officials said, adding it was brought under control after four hours. “Four charred bodies were recovered from the denim factory after the fire was doused. Their identification is underway," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 6) Bipin Ahire. Around a dozen firefighters struggled to put out the flames. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, officials had said.
