The Election Commission of India will on Tuesday take a decision on the allegations of Model Code violations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. Modi was accused of violating the Model Code for his references to the Pulwama and Balakot air strikes.
The panel is also examining the complaint against Shah for his comment about "Modi Sena". The BJP had complained against Rahul Gandhi for his "chowkidar chor hai" slogan.
"This meeting to decide on these leaders' violations was fixed earlier. We can't comment on the court hearing tomorrow,” NDTV quoted Deputy Election Commissioner Chandra Bhushan Kumar as saying.
