Samajwadi Party leader Rakesh Yadav shot dead in Aligarh's Harduaganj
Rakesh Yadav, A Property Dealer And In-charge Of Baroli Assembly Constituency From SP Was On His Way Back To Home When Unidentified Assailants Shot Him In The Head.
Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Rakesh Yadav was shot dead by unknown assailants in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh on Tuesday night. The police suspect that the murder of the SP leader was not related to poll violence and suspected property dispute behind his killing.
Yadav, a property dealer and in-charge of Baroli Assembly constituency from SP was on his way back to home when unidentified assailants shot him in the head. The police have registered a case of murder and launched an investigation.
“We have registered a case under the Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and are currently investigating the matter,†ANI news agency quoted Akash Kulhary, SSP Aligarh, as saying.
According to agency sources, the police is prime facie suspecting property dispute behind the murder and they have also booked four people over suspicion. However, they have not arrested anyone so far and further investigating the case
